Linkplay Technology was established four years ago by a core team of high caliber technology entrepreneurs from Google, Broadcom and InterVideo. Linkplay develops cutting-edge wireless technology for a variety of products and applications featured in top brands on the market. It has integrated into 40 brand products such as Jam Audio, AudioPro, Edifier, and many more.
Linkplay works with top audio product brands to provide customizable and meticulously crafted wi-fi audio technology solutions. Using only highest quality components, Linkplay’s solutions enable new and unique audio products to create limitless and profound auditory experiences.
Today, Linkplay is comprised of a global team of talented hardware and software engineers and business veterans. Technology partners include original design manufacturers (ODMs), component suppliers and key technology investors. We build high-fidelity, wireless audio systems with our cornerstone Wi-Fi audio technology. We help partners integrate Wi-Fi technology and integrate it into their own brands.

Lifeng Zhao, PhD
Lifeng is the creative mastermind behind Linkplay’s patent-pending technology. He possesses a PhD in Electrical Engineering from USC (University of Southern California) and holds 8 US and 6 European patents. Before Linkplay and Wiimu (Linkplay’s parent company), he founded and sold two other companies, NemoChips and Intervideo. Anyone who’s interacted with him can see immediately that he is passionate about the endless possibilities of wireless technology and its applications to enhance everyday life in meaningful ways.
General Manager & Chief Business Officer
Jade is no stranger to the ebbs and flows of Silicon Valley and its hi-tech industry. She is an 8-year veteran in Google’s product teams, and is accomplished academically with a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Stanford University and a Master’s degree in Media Management. Jade leads the charge in developing the US business for Linkplay through establishing partnerships with stream music services, product manufacturers, and brands.
Vice President of Engineering
Lin serves as Vice President of Engineering at Linkplay. In this role, Lin oversees engineering teams responsible for core technology developments including embedded software, Wi-Fi, audio and various streaming protocols, and system integration. Before joining Linkplay, Lin worked as the manager of the firmware and diagnostics team at Cavium Networks. Prior to Cavium, Lin served in a variety of key roles in the core Wi-Fi team at Broadcom in Sunnyvale, where he successfully led and delivered world-class Wi-Fi software. Before that, Lin held software manager positions at Nemochips and InterVideo. Lin earned a B.S. in Automation from Beijing Institute of Technology.
